Early 20thc impressive traditional Dori silver necklace worn by Tamang women of Nepal. Individual large pendants in the boteh form with a central amulet embellished with red glass bead. The individual elements composed of pitch filled sheet silver decorated with repousse and chasing, coin silver content. Cord that connects the pendants is a hand finger woven animal fiber around a hand spun wool core, this wrapping has losses.
