Delicate floral embroidered Spanish net round shawl dating to the early 20th century. Ephemeral silk illusion netting provides the ground for the compact hand embroidered silk flowers that seem to float on the surface, with scalloped edges the whole way around. Wonderful special occasion shawl. In very good antique condition with a few scattered slight pulls to the ground mesh and one small hole near edge.
