Antique white center European jacquard shawl dating to the mid 19th century. Probably French or Scottish textile manufacture. Stunning unusual colors in French indigo blue, rose, forest green with saffron colored accents. Complicated interlocking boteh design elements with graceful filigree boteh against the white center ground. In excellent condition.

Measures 70″ by 68″ with 4″ fringe on two sides.
