Beautiful Antique European textiles with a strong graphic appeal. These very early matched textile panels date to at least 18th century possibly earlier? Probably Spanish or possibly Italian? Appliqué silk design elements in a raspberry silk with couched details and remains of flat gold threads which are probably gold. The design elements read very dramatic and decorative. In only fair as found condition! with much fray to the red silk, loss’s to edging etc. shedding and dusty, but oh my just grand! Would be best mounted on linen or archival paper and put behind glass!

Each measure 55″ long and 22.5″ wide.
