Beautifully embellished ladies caplet dating to the 1880s. Cafe au lait colors of the alternating and radiating bands of tightly done soutash ending in a sawtooth border. Highly decorative and high styled. Lined in light coffee colored silk, with enameled single button at neck. In excellent antique uncleaned as found museum deaccession.

Length measures 21″, circumference 110″.
