Vintage Luxurious Ribbon Weave Silk in Seafoam Green with Lace Peignoir Set

 
Vintage luxurious ribbon weave silk in a pastel sea foam green peignoir set dating to the early to mid 20th century With tiny hand finishing stitches found only on the highest quality lingerie; probably French made. The robe with long extravagant bell sleeves, needle run lace trimmings with front silk covered button closure, hemstitched seams along wide waist band, full sweeping skirt. Matching nightgown in a pastel green silk crepe with the ribbon weave v neck bodice, lace trimmed with charming multiple straps at he plunging back, full skirt. In overall excellent vintage condition, the robe has a small dime sized hole at the back of one shoulder and a couple of other pindot holes, the nightgown, has teeny pull to the ribbon weave silk bodice where it joins the skirt.

Chest on the robe approx. measures 36″, waist 26″, length 56″. Chest on the nightgown measures 36″, waist 26″, length 55″.
