Vintage Couture Paquin Black String Chiffon Dress

 
Innovative vintage dress design in this late vintage Paquin couture gown dating to the 1950s. A series of long narrow silk loops sewn down at yoke of chest flow freely thru the bodice then are sewn down at the waist and then continue into the skirt running the length where they are free to fly and twist. Sheer chiffon sleeves, with back metal zipper, fully lined in a beautiful silk with interior waist cincher. The craftsmanship, construction and the quality of the materials are only matched by the innovative and fun to wear design. In excellent vintage as found condition, wearable and strong. Would make nice addition to collection.
