Early 17thc Italian Allegorical Lace with Lions, Stag and Figures

 
Impressive very early Italian or possibly Milanese? hand lace length, possible allegorical imagery, with several figures perhaps hunting, planting, with a stag and two majestic lions. Beautiful swirling design elements on all hand ground. With old collection tag, saying “17thc. Old Italian pillow lace”. A few small breaks. Rare little masterpiece worthy of collection.
