Rare antique Indian or Kashmiri gold metallic and silk twill Kashmiri long shawl. Dating to the first quarter of the 19th century, 1810-1825. Luminous ivory silk twill in the very long center field, with rows of the flower filled golden boteh on each palla end. The golden boteh are very radiant with the metallic gold wrapped silk threads. Rare antique textile, worthy candidate for collection. In as found all original condition with several faint water marks here and there some minor loss of gold threads in a few places.
