Lavishly embroidered Tekke chyrpy from southern Turkmenistan dating to the early 20th century. Very deep blue silk ground with, side vents, lined in bright Russian printed cotton and flannel. Traditional mantle worn by younger women for special occasion. In excellent overall condition.
Chest measures 44″ length 42″.
