Early 20thc vibrantly embroidered Phulkari head cloth Swat Valley origins. Indigo dyed, hand woven cotton ground with abrash, panel made up of three widths of the cotton, silk floss flat stitch’s & false satin stitch in a elaborate geometric design in orange, red and shocking pink. Condition has wear from age and use especially along edge with loss to stitching and a couple of small holes.
