Extravagant luminous silk velvet art textile probably French and dating to the 1920's. Exquisite quality the hand and drape of the velvet of the highest quality in amazing well preserved condition. Complicated and dense chinoiserie design elements in earthy tones of cinnabar, silvery gray, indigo and cinnamon with a plush black border on four sides, backed in black tissue chiffon. In excellent condition, an exceedingly good candidate for collection. Measures 60" by 60".
