Beautiful black leather riding boots, from a large lot of equestrian gear. Dating to the early to mid 20thc. with a makers mark on interior reading “James Moore, NYC”. I have not found too much on the boot maker, but these boots are excellent, high quality hand made boots. Soft and supple leather with a great shape. I could live in these. They come with their hardwood stretchers, making the lot quite heavy at 10 lbs.
I don't see any size marking. I am guessing these are a 5.5 – 6 ladies size. Heel to toe exterior measures 9 3/4″ widest part of exterior toe 3.5″, stand 16.5″ high with a 1.5″ heel (approx.) Circumference at the top is 14.5″ approx.
