Directional design elements with tree of life motif in repeat across the horizontal field, the trees emerging from fertile mounds with lush botanical's, graceful fruits in the Jacobean taste. Untwisted silk floss in lovely vegetal colors, all on a dense silver metallic thread basket weave ground. With meandering floral embroidered border. Done on a cotton or linen ground with ever so slight fragments of the yellow silk backing on edge. Beautiful and rare in excellent antique condition, missing only its backing.
