Fine antique hand embroidered stole/shawl in a myriad variety of stitch's all done on a fine pina cloth ground. Dating to at least the late 19th century, possibly earlier, with likely India origins. Tree of life design motif each end with embroidery, drawnwork and lace trim along sides. In as found, uncleaned antique condition with several early period darns and a several pindot and slightly larger holes to the ground as well as some faint age related spots. Measures 88" long by 20" wide.
