Antique 1720-1750 Rare Valenciennces lace Bizarre Style

Rare early 18th century antique Valenciennces narrow panel. Extremely fine and flat and light as a feather, done in the rich patterning of the Bizarre style that were favored in this period in furnishing silk but was also used in lace especially Valenciennes. Round ground mesh feather light. In very good as found uncleaned condition with a few light scattered spots, some fray to lower corner, 1/2 doz. small breaks. Measures 26 1/4" long and 3" wide. Has finished picot ends.
