Antique 18th century Continental silk/linen lampas fragment in indigo and emerald

Old antique Spanish or Italian 18th century silk and linen lampas fragment. Saturated indigo blue with an emerald supplementary weft. In a vertical stylized botantical design. The total panel made up of 4 narrow panels, backed in linen that does not look period, perhaps 19thc.bound on 4 sides in what looks like old gold trim. In fair antique condition with some abraded areas some early mends, these areas make more visible the hand spun linens threads. Measures 40" by 38" and weighs 2 lbs.
